It’s going to be a fun night and it might be a sad night. The problem we are seeing tonight is that hip-hop has no love on this city, so we are losing someone we were lucky to get.
Tonight we officially say goodbye to ill poetic, the music maker, the friend. In this world we can never say goodbye when we leave, but text messaging and MySpace don’t always give you enough. I’m bad at staying, and keeping, unfortunately, in touch. I wish our friend well, and tell myself that I want to improve on that keeping in touch thing. This time.
Good bye friend. Next time I want to see you, I’ll put on one of your tracks and picture you rollin’.
